Arrow

We already have a dog and a cat and another cat, but that cat is not technically ours because he just comes with the place that we live. My husband mentioned that we should get another cat but I wasn't so sure. I am off work due to a severe back issue and am in a lot of pain. It was already hard enough on me trying to deal with the animals I already had.

My husband insisted that we get another cat. So, two weeks ago he brought a little cat cage home with him one night after work. He told me to look inside it. I looked inside and I fell in love instantly. There inside the little cat cage was Arrow, a beautiful black and white kitten who was no older than eight weeks old.

I took Arrow out of the cat cage and put him in my lap. He was shaking because he was nervous after the ride home and the fact that he was in a new home. I petted Arrow on his head and he started to settle down. Then he stopped shaking and then he purred. Arrow was so adorable. I loved him to pieces.

My husband then told me that Arrow had a little deformity. Arrow had six toes on each of his front paws. I looked down at his little paws and sure enough, there were six toes on each paw. I didn't care though, I loved him anyway.

Since Arrow has come into my life, I have been getting around a bit better. It is no wonder, Arrow had to be carried to his litter box because he was just so tiny. Arrow also had to be fed five times a day. I had to get up and move around more because of him and I didn't care how much pain it caused. Arrow was mine and I was taking care of him no matter what.

Arrow is adorable. I had to raise a tiny kitten, too, and she is the sweetest little thing. I used to take her to class with me when she was tiny, and keep her in a basket under the desk. If anyone heard her cry, I'd look at them and say "what noise? You're imagining it."

Hi Teresa McGurk, thank you for the comment. That is so cute about taking the kitten in a basket. I love that. I love Arrow to bits. He has gotten bigger already. I'm going to post some updated pics of him on this hub soon.

Ooh! One of the cutest kittens I've ever seen! His paws are what's called "polydactyl." He's a special little guy!

Abby, thank you for your comment. I love Arrow to death. He's so easy to love though and I'm the one, for some reason, he loves the most. He follows me everywhere I go.

Hi Debbie - He really is adorable. Looks like the little rascal is going to be keeping you busy!

Hey sufidreamer, how are you today? Yeah, he is definitely adorable and he definitely keeps me busy. Believe it or not, he actually helped me get walking again because when I first got him I had to carry him to his litter box because he was soooo tiny. He used to fit in the palm of my hand. Not anymore though and he is a little terror. When he runs up the hallway, he sounds like a race horse.

Fine thanks, Debbie - just about to hit the bed for a long sleep. It is amazing how quickly they grow - I look through some of the photos from last year, and they were all so tiny. Arrow is going to grow up to be a beautiful cat!
