Chewy or Crunchy Cookies

Ummmm, I love the smell of freshly baked cookies. Now, here is the question, do you like your cookies chewy or crunchy?

For me, the answer to the question is, hands down, I love chewy cookies. Chewy cookies, especially when they are fresh right out of the oven, are the absolute best. I love sinking my teeth into a nice chewy cookie.

I find that crunchy cookies tend to hurt my gums. They are just so hard to bite into and so hard to chew. They also tend to break pieces and fall apart in your hands. They are so messy.

If you like to dip your cookie in milk, then I guess that crunchy cookies would be okay. However, I don't like to dip my cookies in milk, I never have and never will. I don't like milk to start with so that is half the problem. The other half of the problem is, it is just so messy. Have you ever washed up after someone eating a cookie and dipping it in milk? It seems they never finish the glass of milk and in the bottom of the glass there is always these big chunks of cookies left over. I think it is just gross.

My absolute favourite chewy cookie is chocolate chip. I am a chocolate lover and am probably one of those people that should never work in a chocolate factory because I would definitely end up eating all of the profits. There is nothing better than a freshly baked chewy chocolate chip cookie, nothing at all. I think I'm going to have to do some baking this afternoon.
