Duct Tape Uses

Duct tape is a common household product in Canada.  Duct tape is versatile and strong and has many, many uses.  I want to show you some of the uses of duct tape in our Canadian homes.

Oops!  Looks like the raccoons have gotten a hold of the garbage again.  That is okay, though, just duct tape the bag!  This is the perfect solution!

We Canadians love our cars but our winters are not so gentle on them.  Got some rust on your vehicle.  Duct tape it!  This really works, I know from experience.  My dad did this to an old station wagon that he owned.

We Canadians can be very tough on our tools.  What happens if the head of your hammer falls off?  Well, don’t throw it out.  Duct tape it back on.  

Have a broken tail light on the back of your car.  Don’t take it to an expensive repair shop.  Duct tape it!  

Got a crack in your toilet seat.  Wrap a piece of duct tape around it and it will last for years to come.

Did your cat put a whole in your screen door?  There is no reason to get rid of the door or the cat.  Just put some duct tape over the whole and your problems are solved.

We Canadians love music, in fact we love it so much that we wear holes in our guitars.  No need to replace the guitar though, just put some duct tape over the hole.

Cat using the shower curtain as a scratch post again.  No need to fear, just duct tape it!

Can’t find a nail to hang your favourite calendar on the wall.  Search no further, duct tape it instead!
