My Favourite Dr. Suess Book

 My favourite Dr. Suess book is "Green Eggs and Ham". I think it is my favourite because it was the first Dr. Suess book that i ever read. I love the funny rhymes Dr. Suess used in that book.

I often think of how terrible it would be to eat green eggs with ham. Just the thought of it  kind of turns my stomach inside out. However, the character in the story doesn't want to eat green eggs and ham either. He would not, could not in a box, he would not could not with a fox.

The other thing that always catches my attention with a Dr. Suess book is the illustrations. They are so well illustrated. I can picture in my mind the red covered book with the big slab of ham on a plate with two green eggs beside it.

I always wished that I was Dr. Suess. I love his writing style. There is just nothing better to sit and read a Dr. Suess book to a young child. I remember reading Dr. Suess books to my children when they were younger. They would sit with their mouths wide-open in awe, pointing to the pictures in the book. I have probably read Green Eggs and Ham a hundred times or more and each time I read it I love it even more.
