Seahorse

My favourite ocean creature is a seahorse. I think the seahorse is awesome. I like how he swims in the water straight up and down with his little tail all curled up. If I could have any ocean creature for a pet, I would definitely pick a seahorse.

Besides the look of the seahorse, there is another reason I like them and I will admit that it is a very selfish reason. The other reason I like the seahorse is because the male seahorse is the one that actually gets pregnant. Now, being a woman, who has had two children, let me tell you, it would have been awesome to have the male go through having to carry the babies around with you for nine months in the womb and then the pain of labour. I have a lot of respect for those male seahorses.

Now, don't get me wrong, I love my two children very much and I would go through labour again if it meant having them to love. However, it would have been nice to at least have some help.
