My husband likes to surprise me every once in a while, but quite honestly I don't like surprises.
My husband will call me from work and say "Hey honey, I have a surprise for you" and then I will say "What is it?" and then he says, "You will have to wait until I get home." It is that very last statement that I don't like. I don't like to wait for surprises.
What happens is after that phone call, I wonder all day about what it could be. I usually start by thinking about things that I really want and then work my way down that list to things that I need and what ends up happening is my husband comes home with the surprise and it is never anything that I would expect. However, the surprises he does get for me are always something pretty cool.
One surprise I can remember was a beautiful suede jacket that my husband got me. It was absolutely beautiful and not something that I would have expected him to get for me. I really loved that suede jacket a lot. The surprise of the jacket was wonderful but it was the anticipation of waiting for it that I didn't like.

Oh, I kept the jacket for a long time. I loved it. However, it is the anticipation I didn't like. You know, the adrenaline flow.

Oh yeah...your hubby knows how to play you....knows that the anticipation drives you batty. Be thankful you have him getting you surprises....a lot of women would love to have a hubby like that. Now must click button.
Thank you R. Blue, and you are so right about what you said. Yes, my husband does play me when he says "I have a surprise for you" because he darn well knows I hate suprises and yes, I am definitely thankful for the husband I have, he is very kind and considerate and loving. He's one in a million. Now I must shut up here and hit that post button too. Hey R. Blue, what exactly is CRS. I have congenital chorea which is a muscle nerve disorder.

Aweeee, thank you so much! I really like you too. I guess the reason my writing is short is because I am used to writing children's stories. I have been writing them for 17 years and just finished writing my 900th one.
