"I Want To Do Bad Things With You"

True Blood is an HBO television series about vampires, sex and murders.

 

I sat and watched the very first episode of True Blood and at first, I was taken aback by all the sex that seemed to be happening. Now, I am no prude by any means but it was a lot to absorb. I think I got into the first 15 minutes of the episode and felt is was pretty raunchy so I decided I would turn it off. Well, my curiousity got the better of me and the next night and I sat and finished watching the rest of the first episode and the second and third etc.

 

I really like the storyline of True Blood and am really falling for Bill Compton, the main vampire throughout the series. He is very sexy with his deep eyes and black hair and I love how his fangs pop out when he gets excited or sees blood.

 

I like the main female character, Sookie Stackhouse. I think her innocence brings a lot to the series. I do dislike Jason Stackhouse, Sookie's brother, but I do feel sorry for him because I  know he did not commit any of the murders that he is being blamed for. Sam Merlotte is another very sexy character. He is the owner of the Merlotte's, a local pub. Sam is a shapeshifter and I have yet to figure out exactly what a shapeshifter's usefulness is.

 

There is a lot of blood and gore in this series, so if you are squeamish, it is probably best to skip it. I am surprised that I am enjoying it so much because I am the first one to tell my friends that I do not like watching horror shows. I am rethinking that now though.

 

Ever since the movie Twilight came out I have been fascinated with vampires. I have watched all three of the Twilight movies, Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse and am waiting patiently for the two Breaking Dawn movies to be released. I have also been following the Vampire Dianes series.

 

If you are into vampires and blood and gore, then True Blood may be something you may want to consider watching. I will warn you though, there is a lot of sex scenes in the series and I do mean a lot.
