Using Facebook

How do you use Facebook? Do you use it to keep up-to-date with what friends and family are doing? Do you use it to network with others that have the
same hobbies as you?

1. How do you use Facebook?

Me - I use Facebook mainly to keep up-to-date with friends and family.

Jen - I also use Facebook to keep up to date with family and friends.

2. Do you like using Facebook?

Me - I do like using Facebook very much. It gives me a chance to interact with friends and family.

Jen - I do like using Facebook but I also don't agree with it being the sole way to keep in touch with family. Meeting face to face more often then once every 6 years would be great.

Me - Gee, I am glad you said that, and I totally agree. We will have to get you to come out here for a visit maybe next summer.

Jen - Are you glad I said that? And you should be the one to do the visiting since I'm not the one that moved. I won't be visiting until I get a car.

Me - I will be visiting you in almost a month from now, hee hee!!!

Jen - Yup, I know.

3. What do you feel is the best tool that Facebook has to offer?

Me - I love the photograph tool that Facebook has. This way I can view pictures of my grandkids.

Jen - I love how you are only interested in seeing pictures of your grandkids never mind your children eh?

Me - Oh, gee, that was a big mistake on my part hahaha!!! I love seeing your pictures and you know I do. By the way, even though I didn't see this on Facebook, but on my phone, I love your blue dress for your brother's wedding. It is so, so pretty and suits you very well!!!

Jen - Lol! That was a great response and I finally got a decent response from you about the dress!

Me - I love that dress on you!!! I can't wait to see it in person.

4. Do you leave many comments on Facebook?

Me - About the only time I will leave a comment on Facebook is if I see something I really, really like. I like leaving comments on photographs.

Jen - I tend not to actually talk on Facebook. I don't like using Facebook to keep relationships alive but I usually don't have a chose in how I interact with people.

5. Do you use other Facebook features such as the poke feature?

Me - I did use it at one time but not anymore.

Jen - I don't use other Facebook features very often if at all.

Me - I think it is a waste of time.

Jen - Yea, so do I.

6. Do you update your status a lot?

Me - I haven't updated my status in Facebook in a very long time. I rarely update it. I think the reason for this is because I just don't want people commenting back to me about things that are personal to me. I tend to keep things to myself and don't want to express myself through a status update.

Jen - I don't update it very often. I will update if there is something important going on though.

7. What are your final thoughts about using Facebook?

Me - I am glad there is such a thing as Facebook. I find I do use it often. I am not addicted to it but it is nice to know that it is there.

Jen - I am glad Facebook is there but I don't always agree with it.
