Victoria Day Weekend

On the Victoria Day weekend, I would like to go to Victoria Island. Victoria Island is located about 90 minutes from Vancouver by ferry. Victoria Island is actually called Vancouver Island. The city of Victoria is located on Victoria Island. Victoria is the capital city of British Columbia.

The city of Victoria is the best place to go if you want to have a romantic weekend. Victoria has been named the best place to live in Canada in 2009. It is no wonder too, with Victoria's spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and the best weather in all of Canada.

I love the coast of British Columbia. I have been there twice, once to Vancover and once to White Rock. When I was in White Rock, I walked along the beach and collected some seashells. It was very windy and very cold the couple of days I was there but then it was only in the month of April. When I was in Vancover, I was there in middle of the summer and it was a really nice day. It was really hot. We went to Stanley Park and the Vancouver Aquarium. Since that visit, Stanley Park has lost some of it's historic trees due to storms.

I have never been to Victoria or Vancouver Island but it would be a nice trip. I want to go on the ferry and I would be so thrilled if I saw a whale or a dolphin. Since it is the Victoria Day weekend, I thought it would be a nice trip and I'd have a few days to spend there.

The Victoria Day weekend is the celebration of Queen Victoria's birthday here in Canada. The Victoria Day weekend is always the weekend before the 24th of May. There is no association between the Victoria Day weekend and Victoria, BC except the fact that Victoria would be a beautiful place to spend the Victoria Day weekend and it was named after Queen Victoria.
