Why is Mommy Grumpy Sometimes

Sometimes Mommy is grumpy.  I often think she is grumpy because of me.  But I have found out that she isn’t.  In fact, Mommy loves me very much.  So, I want you to know why Mommy is grumpy sometimes.

Why is Mommy grumpy sometimes?  Could it be, could it be because she is upset?  Could it be that she is upset at my baby brother?  Baby brother started crying for no reason at all!  That’s it!  That is why Mommy is grumpy sometimes.

Why is Mommy grumpy sometimes?  Could it be, could it be because she is angry?  Could it be because she is angry at the telephone?  The telephone just started ringing as Mommy put baby down for his nap.  That’s it!  That’s why Mommy is grumpy sometimes.

Why is Mommy grumpy sometimes? Could it be, could it be because she is annoyed?  Could it be because she is annoyed at the delivery boy?  The delivery boy broke the eggs when he brought the groceries into the house.  That’s it!  That is why Mommy is grumpy sometimes.

Why is Mommy grumpy sometimes.  Could it be, could it be because she is irritated?  Could it be because she is irritated at my Daddy?  Daddy came home from work with mud all over his boots and walked on Mommy’s clean floor.  That’s it!  That is why Mommy is grumpy sometimes.

Why is Mommy grumpy sometimes?  Could it be, could it be because she is aggravated?  Could it be because she is aggravated at my older brother?  My older brother was late for school this morning because he slept in.  That’s it!  That is why Mommy is grumpy sometimes.

Why is Mommy grumpy sometimes?  Could it be, could it be because she is frustrated?  Could it be because she is frustrated at the mechanic?  The mechanic promised Mommy that he would have the car fixed today but now it won’t be fixed until tomorrow.  That’s it!  That is why Mommy is grumpy sometimes.

Why is Mommy grumpy sometimes?  Could it be, could it be because she is bothered?  Could it be because she is bothered by the washing machine?  Mommy wanted to do the laundry today but she couldn’t because the washing machine broke down.  That’s it!  That’s why Mommy is grumpy sometimes.

Why is Mommy grumpy sometimes?  Could it be, could it be because she is troubled?  Could it be because she is troubled by our dog?  Our dog ripped up a newspaper all over the living room floor.  That’s it!  That’s why Mommy is grumpy sometimes.

I’m so glad that Mommy is not grumpy with me because you see, I love my Mommy very, very, very much!
